Table rules How to play, letter values & the word list

Build something connected. Use your seven rack tiles to make words on the 9×9 board. The first word crosses the centre star. Every later play connects to a tile already on the board. All new tiles must lie in one row or column without gaps; existing tiles can fill the gaps. Every word formed, including each perpendicular crossing, must be in this game’s word list. Words have at least two letters.

Ten turns. A valid play scores and refills your rack. Exchange recalls your draft and swaps as many rack tiles as the bag holds; it uses one turn. With an empty bag, the same button passes a turn. Shuffle and Recall are free. After ten turns, your score is final. There are 70 tiles, no blanks, no rack-clear bonus and no opponent.

Make the bonuses work. 2L doubles a letter, 3L triples it, and 2W doubles a word. Word multipliers apply after letter bonuses. A newly covered bonus counts in each word formed on that turn, then is used up. Old board tiles score their base value on later turns. The board layout, bag distribution and values are original to this game.

Mouse, touch or keys. Tap/click a rack tile, then an empty square. Tap a staged tile to take it back. On a physical keyboard, a letter selects a matching unused rack tile; arrow keys choose a square, and Enter/Space places it. Backspace recalls the staged tile at the cursor; Escape recalls the draft. Tab reaches the other controls. A helpful start: look for a short word and save a useful vowel.
